BIOGRAPHY

Elisabetta Bacci, born in Trieste,  is a visual artist and curator and  has lived in Venice, London, New York and Genoa. She has a Master’s Degree in visual arts attained at the Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti (Academy of fine arts) of Genoa and a Master’s Degree in History of Art and Historic and Artistic Heritage Conservation attained at the Università of Udine. Her works have been exhibited in Italy and abroad in particular a selection of activities are as follows:  “Progetto Arca” PARDES, Mira (2013) Italy, “Ponte Italia-Messico” La Telarana in Oaxaca and  Arocena Museum in Torreon (2013) Mexico; “Piers” Museo Galata, Genoa (2014) Italy; “Tebah” Ai Fiori, Trieste (2015) Italy. Furthermore in 2016 have taken place  exhibitions  in Museo Carà, Muggia and Galerija Murska Sobota in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, together with solo exhibition in Qvartirna Hiša, Celje and Lux art gallery, Trieste (2017) . Catalogues published include texts written by Emilia Marasco,  Khaled Fouad Allam, Antonio Cattaruzza, Robert Inhof and Gianni Spizzo in Italian, Slovene, English and French and photographs by Dominik Fras, Annalisa Pisoni, Lucio Perini, Milena Rajnar and Nataša Kos. She lives in Trieste and Vadarci and her work is supported by Art-Zoom  (Belgrade), Art3b Gallery (Izola), Galerija Robin (Murska Sobota), Grierson Galleries (Cranbrook).
